What is COMPT?
COMPT is a Professional Interest Network of the Mountain-Plains Museums Association.
Our mission is to provide a network for those in the MPMA region who work with or are interested in professional museum training. We want to enhance the cultural landscape by providing a forum on the value and relevance of professional museum training.

Benefits of joining

COMPT supports members through a number of programs such as webinars, online meet-ups, and more. COMPT’s robust engagement at MPMA’s Annual Meeting includes COMPT-endorsed sessions, thought-leaders at the COMPT event and networking opportunities.
Scholarships are available for COMPT members to attend MPMA’s Annual Meeting. The award covers basic conference registration, tickets to attend COMPT events, an invitation to the COMPT Breakfast, and a travel stipend. Mentoring is available to COMPT colleagues new to the field.
